what? a productive day?
So today was totally productive...I went to Evermore and rode Sirius. For the first time this year.
Now, he's been getting exercise, they've been riding him for me...and oh my god. If I had the money, I'd keep him.
He walked trotted and cantered around like a little school horse. He threw in a few "bucks" of protest, and didn't get his right lead (save when we hopped over the crossrails) but he was amazing. I feel like I could have taken him out and galloped around in the field and been fine.
I forget how little he is though...I mean, he's not. He's 16h, but I'm used to riding big honkin' draft horses. King, who is 17.3 or so, was my last ride I think.
And damn do I hurt...I haven't ridden in a close contact saddle in months.
Anyway, sorry for my lack of commenting and/or replying...I've been working a lot. And sleeping. <3sleep.
