Savannah weather reports are a joke. I mean, lets face it, when was the last time they said it was going to rain, and it actually rained? I mean really rained? From January to June, I checked the weather report EVERY DAY, and every week it told me it was going to rain, but it never did. The first day we had rain this past year between January to June was on graduation day when it poured!
I don't believe ANYTHING the weather people tell me for Savannah because in the 4 1/2 years I've lived there I've discovered Savannah has a mind of its own! Remember that hurricane we were supposed to get 3 years ago? The one that killed a bunch of people down in Florida? The one that was so bad we were supposed to evacuate for? Never came. The day it was supposed to hit, it was mildly cloudy with a little wind. It continued on up the coast though, but it never hit Savannah. Also, I can't imagine a tornado springing up in Savannah, can you?
The only thing the weather people are vaguely accurate on is the temperature. Aside from that, don't believe what they say!
