WOAH AN UPDATE
I'm pretty busy with school. So here's a quick update.
ARGH. Midterms suck.
I turned in a paper today. I have a presentation and a project due tomorrow, which by the way I am hella nervous about. On Wednesday, I have another project and presentation and paper due. Thursday is luckily a day off because my professor decided to have a furlough. And on Friday I've got a psychology exam. Then spring break.
Other than school, Chris and I are planning to start our own business. We're going to design t-shirts by woodblock printing. The process is simple... Carve the design out of the wood. Ink the wood. Stamp it onto the t-shirt. Ship out. Right now though, we're just brainstorming ideas... what supplies we need, how much we're willing to spend on a printing press, how we're going to get the word out, construct a website, etc. It's a pretty lengthy process. We also have to do research on copyrighting our designs. So far, we've got a few sketches, an idea about how much supplies will cost, and a name! :P But that'll stay secret 'til we get the business going.
Yesterday, the family and I went to the zoo. It was kindof a treat for Mom Mom and Pop Pop because Pop Pop's brother recently passed away. He doesn't talk much, but I can tell that he's depressed. It's especially more difficult because he also has Alzheimer's. He seemed pretty content while we were there.
Being at the zoo reminded me of Lauren and Marissa. Hey ladies! Hope you're doing well.
Ok, well I better get back to business. *Sigh. I'm stressing out like hell about tomorrow's presentation. I shall go prepare some more I suppose. Later.
PS Happy 3rd birthday to my baby, Akio. I miss you crazy dog.
