You always try to tell yourself that someday you will meet that person of your dreams with whom you will spend the rest of your life. And you always try to convince yourself that no matter what comes your way in life, everything will ALWAYS turn out okay. You know there's nothing you can really do to change things around, but you keep trying anyway. And there are certain things you do, despite the fact that you KNOW it'll never happen for you...your dreams can't ALL come true. Right?
Apparently you're wrong, because everyone keeps telling you the opposite of that, but you know they don't honestly believe you can do it. They don't honestly believe you're capable of doing ANYTHING, even though they say you can.
You hate how people are always telling you how YOU are feeling or what YOU are thinking and what YOU want to do. They tell you what you may and can do for YOURSELF.
What the heck is this world turning into? It's ridiculous. And how exactly are we supposed to follow our dreams, or make a difference in the world if nobody else is standing behind us, helping us along the way...honestly? How can we do anything we want if we're too afraid to even speak a word of what we want to do or tell anyone a plan we have? Because we know we'll get shot down...whether it's direct or indirect. We know that someone will have something negative to say that will bring us down and cause us to rethink ourselves and our plans and hopes for the future.
Is this what God intended to happen to our lives and our world? Is this how we're supposed to treat each other? Is this how it's going to be for years to come on earth...or will it only get worse?
I'll give you one guess.
Now, how do we change this? Maybe we have "hopes" to change the world, but unfortunately, we can't. Why? For every reason I've already stated. This is just one of those things we can't do because nobody will pull together and support each other. Nobody will support us in hopes to change our world...not even if it affects them too.
