Okay, last night at church, something really cool happened...well, "cool" may not be the best word, but "strange" isn't either. LoL. It's just a coincidence! LoL. Anyway, first of all, Tuesday night our dad was cleaning the attic when he found all this old stuff. The moccasins Aurielle and I wore as babies when he held us while he did Indian dances. Pictures from the dances and performances and stuff. And these sticks that were, I think, used to hold some Indian drum, and "honor feathers" and stuff (I don't know for sure what they are used for).
Part two: Last night, Wednesday night, one day after he found that stuff, we went to church. He dropped me...and Aurielle...off at the church for Youth Group. Well, what we didn't know was that it was also registration night for Caravans, the childrens' Wednesday church thing. Their theme was Native Americans and that sort. And guess who was there? The Potamac Dancers--the Indian dancing group in which my dad (and William, Alaina, and Aurielle and I--sort of) used to perform. Isn't that so weird?!
I called my dad and told them they were at the church, and he came and watched them perform. And he brought the sticks to give the group.
What I later learned is that my dad actually TAUGHT some of those guys who danced, when they were all younger!! LoL.
So, yeah, I just thought this was a cool coincidence that he just found that stuff, and then...that. LoL. ;)
