Um...yeah

Haven't written in forever...blah, blah, blah...moving on...[LoL].

Really, I have no idea what to write about. I mean, I know I haven't written in like...forever, but, I don't think I have too much to say; at least not at this simultaneous moment. That could change in the next few minutes, however.

The only thing I think I can talk about it the GNAR Marketfair. Odd things happened at this re-enactment...oh, yes. Some things not so odd, but still...weird? I guess that would be the word for it? LoL. And you mustn't forget the UN-enjoyable weather we had.

Let me start off by saying this: I hate the Newville re-enactment site. I miss Fort Loudon. And, honestly, I think Fort Frederick is better as well (but that does NOT mean I would choose their corny {interesting taste of words, huh?} re-enactment over ours...stupid historical society...). The point is: Newville sucks. Why, you ask? Very bumpy, un-level land, WAY TOO MUCH wind, freezing, rainy, wrong. The reason "wrong" is there is simply because I just didn't feel the way I usually feel when I am re-enacting. Overall...it was just--dare I say it--NOT FUN.

Now for something I find interesting. The knife and tomahawk competitions. I won't get into the whole interesting competition as a whole....just one part I am focusing on. Here's the thing: There's a new guy in town )well, maybe not "town", but you get the point...). Some guy showed up, whom I have yet to meet, and competed in the Juniors section with Aurielle, Nathan, Zach, and myself (And I think there was someone else at least one of those days). I don't know what he looks like, how long he's been throwing, how old he is, or anything, but he must be VERY GOOD. Why? Because Aurielle cut the card twice, also sticking other parts, and earned 9 points this day. And I didn't cut any cards, but I stuck the block every time, so I got 10 points. Okay, I don't know hat this guy did or how many points he got, but he beat me and won. So, either he stuck the card many times, or he stuck every time and cut the cards...either way: HE'S GONNA BE A CHALLENGE. I don't even know if that was the only day he threw...:-\
Anyway, my dad said that if he was here, I can probably expect him at the Eastern and other re-enactments from now on, too. So I'm probably going to have to start practicing more. Yeah, that'll happen....pfh.

Are you wondering what the weird thing is that occured now? Well, I shall tell you. Nathan asked me out. Now to you, whom of which has never met him, etc., this may not sound so weird. However, this guy; I have known him for...I think five years (However long ago his first year re-enacting was). And since then, we've been like best buds at re-enactments. And, don't get me wrong, he can be a nice guy and everything; there's nothing wrong with him. It's just that I never pictured us being anything more than friends. There are just certain things about him that make him...not my type. For instance; when I'm around him, I feel like he's like my brother. And also, he's a little too...perverted and crude for me. And besides that, I just don't feel the same way--AT ALL.
So what did I do? Actually, I never had to answer him. LoL. You see, we were playing truth or dare (Aurielle, Nathan, and I), and ALL of us knew (and we knew that each other knew) that if I said truth, he was gonna ask me that (but I won't get into ALL of that process and know-how) question. So, of course, to avoid any humiliation, etc., etc., I avoided saying "truth". However, the question was inevitable. Eventually, he figured out the secret to truth questions: forming it as a dare...which is what I was gonna try to do (dare him not to ask me), but he wouldn't ever say "dare", so he asked me. And I replied by saying, "Can I answer you tomorrow?". Therefore, the rest of the night was quite peaceful in that area.
But there's always that tomorrow. I talked to Aurielle, thought about it myself, and even went to my mom (lame, yeah, whatever, say what you want) about this: I knew I was going to say "NO", but I didn't know how to do it without ruining our friendship or anything. I soon figured it out and was ready to answer. But I was going to wait until he asked me, due to uncomfortableness, timing, spotlight-building humiliation...blah, blah, blah. And a few times, I knew he was going to try to ask, and he actually tried one or two times. But it never came out, except for one quick, subject-changing, bad-timing question...that I didn't catch until 5 seconds after I had answered, thinking it was another question. But going on...
The point: He never really did ask, so I never did answer. He didn't get me the next day either (because that day we were all packing up and stuff).
I just hope he gets a girlfriend before Eastern so we don't have to go through this again!

So, I guess I did get a story out of this. LoL. Long entry, kinda, now. Sorry, peoples! :-/. LoL.
What can I say, I'm rather bored. And when I'm bored, I sometimes tend to turn short stories into kind of long ones...:-D

Well, L8as. And sorry I haven't written in a while. Hehe.

And oh yeah, I forgot to tell you. Aurielle and I got in the newspaper (Carlisle newspaper, that is. 'Cause that's where the re-enactment was). After I won Knife and Hawk the first day, and she got second, a woman came over to interview us about it and about re-enacting and what we do and everything. Fun, fun. LoL. It was actually rather exciting. LoL. I don't know that I've ever been quoted in a newspaper...maybe once, not sure. LoL. Just pictures. But this time I was quoted. LoL. (No picture though, in case you're wondering. LoL. I'm not THAT special...to have a picture and quotes. Hehe. That's okay though...). Well, anyway, I just thought that was exciting. LoL.
