Writer's Block: Friends or Significant Other
As you get older, you start to change your thoughts about this question, a year and a half ago, i would have definitely picked friends over any guy. Now, I've noticed, even your "best friends" will betray you, lie to you, use you, and eventually ditch you, and the ones that don't do any of those...which i doubt there are any of those true decent people left.. have their own lives to think about, they may go off to college, have a better job offer elsewhere, and take it, and they definitely aren't going to drag you along. Being 19, out of high school and into college, I actually have picked my significant other over all of my friends. We were actually best friends before we started dating a long while ago, so we know everything about each other. We're straight forward with each other, no secrets. He's perfect for me and I will always be by his side. People spend their WHOLE life searching for the one person they're going to spend the rest of their life with. I would hate myself if I gave up on someone worthy enough to fill that spot.
