I dropped my serger off to the "Sewing Gallery" in my local Joann's. It needs a new motor.
I called to check the status (Rob had called before and was given the runaround). They gave me a line of crap and offered to call the repair guy. No new info available, he closes at 2pm on Fridays.
Apparently, it's considered rude to call them for the status of the repair. Apparently, I'm supposed to wait around until it magically appears in their "Sewing Gallery". Apparently, one month is not enough time for the repair guy to figure out if he can get a replacement motor. Apparently, I don't really NEED my serger.
Apparently, this is good customer service.
