Costuming stuff draws to a close, Noel's my twin, Art
Okay-- Revisiting this LJ briefly for an update.
We have 90% Lady Hitcher Achievement. We have !Fail! on the stripes on the bodice, (where is my shipment?) but in a pinch, I will go to the store, buy duct tape, and be Duct Tape Lady Hitcher. It's plan B. Whatever. The good news is, that hat looks FAB if I do say so myself. Exactly as I envisioned. No extra points for difficulty, all funfoam and hot glue on a purchased hat.
MARINA - Sudden closet inspiration, this is a put together @ last minute water-based Superheroine. Who is looking surprisingly good for such a *closet dump* character. Plus glue, funfoam. The costumer's staff of life, as far as I'm concerned.

Come down, say hi, and take pictures!!! NOTE This will be the last big costuming gig for me. Nothing scarier than a woman of a certain age dressing like....well, that. *hides eyes* And my new trimmed-down budget won't handle this foolishness, so. Everything's already been purchased/made. So. I intend to go out with a BANG. (Not a literal bang, mind you.)
And just so that you are completely up to date, because I know this information is CRUCIAL, LOL, my celebrity boyfriend dyed his hair and looks like me now and it kind of freaks me out. Here is his latest (filmed from audience), think Eddie Izzard on some form of hallucinogen. NSFW. (Why the fascination with testicles, Noel? Why?)
ART - Just in case you haven't already been to DA and camped on my doorstep please go there and do so, if you're an arty type and like such things. Not only my gallery but my favorites and groups and....there is so much more there than what I am doing! (but come bug me as well LOL)
