Awesome birthday....
Yeah, found time to post. Parents here, yay! Last night, they took me to teppan-yaki (sp?) and once more, a piece of cake before I give up sugary foods for Lent. From loving husband, gifts of 3 Seasons of the I.T. Crowd Britcom (those of you who haven't enjoyed this show truly must). and the new FOTC CD: I Told You I Was Freaky - looking forward to Gaming tonight - Life's good. Here are ten more reasons why (hard to limit myself to just ten but here goes).
1. More art supplies than I can count and finally, my own, redecorated studio (Hmm I should post pictures) and my new life in which I call myself an artist, first.
2. My writing adventure continues and is a delightful surprise. I did not know I could write. I still can't, but I excel at being a beginner and enjoy the crap out of it :)
3. Fandoms: From cherished memories of LOTR to a new Boosh and Fielding fandom -- It is an inspiration, a daily pleasure, a wonderful discovery full of even more wonderful and supportive people.
4. My Gaming family, friends old and new, all of you and you and you. I'm lucky to know each and every one of you fantastically creative people.
5. My Costuming family, and new opportunities to wear funny clothes (and dance) in the spring!
6. We survived owning this home so far, and continue to love every square foot, old and new.
7. One Voice Choir - So many new friends and I'm so happy to sing again after all these years!
8. the Center for Spiritual Enlightenment - glad I took that right turn at the sign.
9. My beautiful oh so grown-up daughter, my husband whom I adore, my parents who are awesome.
10. So grateful to have the opportunity to live every day and be healthy enough to enjoy living, for now.
