So, dranor was in town this weekend, which was much fun. Last night, he, rebelowl42 , and I went to see the new Underworld movie.

Man, I love opening weekend crowds. dranor estimated the capacity of the theater we were in at a bit over 550 seats; it wasn't quite packed, but it was definitely full, and you got all the opening night audience commentary. I think my ( Read more... )

Well, unless you want tons of gratuitous violence that is so terribly orchestrated that you laugh really hard. Then, it's worth the matinee price ;-)

Agreed. Such a very bad film. There was so much laughing at the end for our showing.

And Hollywood is worried that the Movie Going experience is on its deathbead... I mean, just imagine, if you watched it at home alone on your tv, would you have the fond memories that you now have of laughing at the show? Heck, from the way its described... if you watched it at home, would you know how it ended?
