grutok is still a bit stiff and sensibly got one of his workmates to give him a lift to work. He's in a bit of pain, worse than he was and he promised me that he would call the hospital tomorrow and explain what happened. I know it's only a week until the scan but I don't know if what's happened has made him worse.
The squares for the throw have thrown me. My tension (hush now) means that things have turned out too small. I have two choices, rip all three and start again using larger needles or just knit all the rest of the squares to the new size. It's a question of 2 cm per square which would make the whole thing 20 cm smaller or so. I don't mind the current square or last weeks square but the first week's square had embroidery that was a little more work than really I want to re-do.
The sensible thing would be to rip and re-do and note on the divider that I've changed the size.
Gah.
In other news I got Oatibix during the week and tried it today. A most satisfying breakfast, no after-crampage and everything. I liked it enough that I had a second dose. It tastes like a milder form of wheatabix, slightly lighter but still with the malty taste that I like. Again, yes, I dislike beer but like some malt flavours, I drink malted shakes and like the taste of oatibix/wheatibix, but wheatibix don't agree with me.
