Have you seen Gardai talking on mobiles while driving? That was last week. And then running the light just down the road from us. /applause

they really are special sometimes. They provide such an example.

My absolute favourite one, the one where I act most like a crazy man is the one on the junction of lower mount st and the canal. Folks headed east towards charlotte quay don't seem to realise that the yellow box isn't a carpark and when the lights finally turn red for them they floor it to pull around the corner - which takes them through a clearly visible pedastrian crossing and almost running people down - or more frequently, so many of them decide to break the lights (not even from a moving start - they're stationary) that by the time they're done the little green man has gone away again.

I so wish I had the power!

I swear I sometimes wish I had the power to pass on penalty points to some of those people. I'm getting close to thinking that there should be a text message facility and if there are reports of fuckwittery from more than so many people they should earn penalty points.
