before I go

A small note to Keith Timson

I have a few sneaking suspicions why your second and third books weren't optioned, your world is complex enough without adding layers of complexity.

Marbalon? Sounds like the description of Marble to me, only a bit smoother. Why not call it polished marble? Or come up with another word that's distinct enough not to make me make that leap.
Leafall - call it Fall or Autumn, choose, new season names are just a bit silly really.
aled - what has a welsh man to do with drinking, oh you're talking about getting DRUNK - perfectly servicable english word for that.

Trying to be too clever alienates your audience, putting in words that have no function other than to complicate things also makes you an irritation. This book is going to be bookcrossed when I get to the end. Hopefully there will be someone who will appreciate your prose.
