Today the murderer of Nichola Sweeney was jailed for life, Nichola was killed in a random attack by a guy who was quite disturbed. No problem here, her friend was attacked at the same time... she says that she has lingering problems with helplessness. If I was her (trite I know but I have to say this) I would be doing self defence classes and making sure that I wouldn't be as helpless if it EVER happened again. Maybe I'm wrong but I would need to do that...
There's also something on the news about the possible involvement of a catholic priest in a bombing during the height of the troubles and the catholic church and the british authorities colluded in getting him out of the north and covering it up. It was the only thing they could do. Think about what would have happened if priests had become targets because of one idiot! There would be very few people left alive up north!
