Likes: Quiet. Books. People with good imaginations. Music. That time in the fall when the weather is not-hot and not-cold and it's perfect for wearing fuzzy sweaters and taking long walks.
Dislikes: Chaos. Crowds. Noise. Extreme cold & and my stupid arthritis. Rigid and unimaginative people.
Hobbies/Interests: Reading, sewing (anything crafty, really; I also paint and quilt and make jewelry), singing. History and really old European literature. King Arthur, Dracula, and sometimes combining the two to write really long research papers. :)
Special talents: I sing opera. I sing anything, really, but I especially love opera.
Pet peeves: Bad grammar from people who should know better. People who aren't considerate of others' time and effort.
Strong personality traits: Compassion. Curiousity. Strong sense of justice. Intelligence. Creativity.
Weaker personality traits: I am neither aggressive nor very assertive. I've learned that sometimes I have to be, but it doesn't come naturally. I know how to be logical, but I prefer to be intuitive.
Describe yourself in three sentences: I am quiet and I value the underestimated importance of silence, but that doesn't mean I won't fight to be heard. Music is the blood in my veins and the happiness in my heart. I'm just a little odd, but I like it that way; makes life interesting.
Favorite Old Kingdom character? Why? The Disreputable Dog. I like her sense of adventure. She's lighthearted and loving, but she'll get the job done when she has to.
Least favorite Old Kingdom character? Why? Kerrigor, because there are few things uglier or more terrifying than blind, heedless ambition. There is nothing in this life or after it worth destroying my family for.

One or the other
Famous or rich? Rich. I can live without the notoriety, thanks.
Friends or family? Friends. Because family is so much more than who you happen to be born related to.
Night or day? Total night owl.
Optimist or pessimist? Realist. I'm a glass-half-full kind of girl, and I hope for the best, but I also prepare for the worst.
Leader or follower? I prefer neither, if I can help it. If I think you're intelligent, I'll follow you, and if I think you'll listen to me, I'll take charge, but if the option is there, I'd prefer to go my own way. But I'm guessing I probably need to pick one, sooo...leader. I like my free will.
Introverted or extroverted? Introverted to ocasionally painful extremes.

Magically speaking...
Would you use weapons? If so, what kind? I ♥ weapons. Quarter staff is my favourite, followed by short sword (I'm too little to effectively use anything bigger) I've never used a crossbow, but I'd love to learn.
If you could have any magical powers, what would you have? I have always wanted to be able to fly. When I was eight, I wanted to grow up to be a butterfly. (a blue one, with swallowtails.)
If you could be any animal, what would you be? Why? I'd like to be something pretty, like a snow leopard or a tigress, but I think realistically I'd be a cheetah. Smaller than the other 'big cats'...a fast runner, and very territorial. Not beautiful like a snow leopard, but interesting to look at. Not aggressive and powerful like a tigress, but seriously stealthy. Watch your back. :)
If stranded alone on an island, what three things would you need with you? Couldn't I just have Bear Grylls, that British special forces guy who does the Man vs Wild survival show? :) If not, I'd need...a knife, some sun screen, and a portable water desalination unit.
Would you risk your own life to save someone? Depends on the situation and the person. I would die to save my mother from a murderer, but not to save to save the kid walking down the street talking on his cell phone and not paying attention to the on-coming car. (Hey, I'd yell out a warning, I'm not heartless.)
Do you fancy any particular bell? Why? Dyrim. I like the idea of giving words to the voiceless. And I'm a very good listener.

Miscellaneous
Which character do you think you'll be stamped as? I can't even imagine. Trying to look at it objectively, I think I see Sabriel or maybe Sam, but I can't guess what all of you will see. I'm very curious. :)
