I am not a UK citizen, Nic, but if anybody wants to know my opinion on ACTA, it's entirely negative. So, I say "NO" to ACTA in any case.
It's also very "democratic" to negotiate that "agreement" rather than allow its public discussion and ratification through parliamentary procedure or referendum.
However, acting this way, "The global government" in Washington DC has all chances to get the results they need so badly.
If it passes, we are going to be affected by it no less.

Sincerely, Alex

alas, - well, we shall see...

But perhaps the good PR from retracting ACTA (and/or some old fashioned honest bribery) will save the day.

meanwhile, my friend, i must go and talk with that rock over there.
what? Oh yes, convincing isn't it? don't worry, you'll be able to get some yourself on ebay soon.

heh, heh.

This astonishes me. Even if some of them have personal issues with it, they should at least see the business side: that content sells to a significant number of straight women. See the cash flow, people?

I actually feel like a weirdo because several of my real life female friends write slashfic, and I don't care for it (not because of the content, but because I don't like non-canon stories - I don't read any sort of fanfic). But I'm all for people reading what they want to read. I don't like golf, either, but, hey, there are other channels. Takes all kinds. :)

I admire your choice to say something. Personally I am not allowed to have an opinion on this.
