of course the shadow of funding hangs over all the space stories that reach popular public media
(esp now the shuttle has retired) but still...
(a word of advice to the interested: googling Mars and Water will get you many, many previous reports related but old - whilst googling 'two moons' may wind up with you reading about 3753 Cruithne some of which were written before, or in ignorance of, the true Luna status it was granted - though this is again being debated, sigh -.)
