My Favorite Paragraph So Far

I am writing the exegesis paper preceding my sermon. Here is my favorite paragraph so far:

Let us, for the moment, think about
the power dynamics of the POTLUCK. Of course, the greatest amount of
power belongs to the person who hosts the potluck... the person who
provides the venue. But, after that is the person who always brings
the GREAT DISH! The host NEEDS the person with the Great Dish (Jesus) in
order to make the potluck a success. What happens, however, if a
group of uninvited guests (Mary Magdalene and her group of rowdy women) show up with a karaoke machine and steal
the show? The host can't throw them out because now everyone is
enjoying the karaoke, but the host really can't stand these
people, and would much rather that they just leave. What does he do?
