WomanSpirit Next Weekend
WomanSpirit is next weekend. I will be doing readings, sharing a booth with the Abbey. This is the first time I have ever shared a booth with anyone. We will see how it works out.
Normally I go by myself, and being the territorial loner that I am, I'm usually pretty happy that way. I was an only child, and sometimes I don't play all that well with others. Still, we got a REALLY good spot, so I am hoping that it will be a huge success.
I'm really looking forward to it. I always look forward to it. Plus, this time, I don't think there is anyone there who is terribly mad at me. At least I hope not. Of course, one never knows. Sometimes I get hit out of left field, like the time I went to the Mary Magdalene workshop and several women wanted to bar me from entering. Later on, I heard they talked about asking me to leave. I'm assuming the reason they didn't was that I paid full price. (I must have been working that month).
At any rate, I'm just going to go and do my readings. I'm going to try to strike a balance between being visible enough to attract clients, while at the same time keep my head low enough to not make any trouble.
