Mom went under the knife.
That's right, today my mom finally had her knee replacement surgery. Its been over a year since she tore the meniscus on her right knee. A year of pain and barely being able to walk. She will be in the hospital until Thursday or Friday, then will be moving into the downstairs guest room at home. For the next few weeks she's going to have some really painful physical therapy to do, but hopefully everything will set and heal all right, and she will be able to walk again soon.
