Just a little update
What another blue moon? Yep, time to update the LJ.
Well I just finished taking the midterm for my Art History of Japan class. I think I did pretty darn well with remembering all the crazy terms and names, so I just hope that I got the eras right and my definitions/essays were in depth enough to not get points taken off. Now I just have to get down to writing the 8 page paper I didn't realize was due next week.
In other news, my sister vacuumed over the top of that thin cord that goes from the Wii console to the sensor bar. It tore pretty bad in one spot and so it doesn't work properly anymore... anyone know if you can buy just a new sensor bar separately, or will we have to replace the whole console?
As to be expected, I didn't actually get any of my planned summer projects done and it seems like I'm booked up until the real quarter starts back up. /sigh, always next year right?
I'm actually looking forward to the upcoming quarter. I'm taking all art classes and a writing class, and all of the building are so close that I won't even need to bring my bike for the first quarter. But the best part is that Dannielle is going to be coming here, and we might have enough of a break on two days of the week to have lunch together. For the past couple years I've grown accustom to eating by myself, usually just sitting in my car, so the prospect of human interaction has me excited. XD
And now to end this post I'll leave with a random email I received a while ago. It came over my major listserver from ucdavis, which I get a lot of spam from, but it has some real posts sometimes too. If anyone can decode this mess into a real message and figure out what I was trying to be sold, I will buy you dinner!:
