My best-friends rawk/rock
Went out with Kristin yesterday and ran around Andersonville and then Evanston. I think my roommate is jealous that I've been coming in at all hours these past few nights. Well it's not my fault your b/f makes your social life suck!
Anyway, Kristin and I had a blast. We had a late lunch at a veggie cafe/coffee house near her place, then watched Dark Crystal at her flat. Finally we went out to the bar then a fund raiser party for Vagina Monologues in Evanston. I need to do laundry now because my clothes stink of smoke, but I had a lot of fun and it was good to hang out with her and just talk.
Plus we're going to Kansas in 2 weeks together! K was in a car accident a few weeks ago and we're going to Kansas City to pick up her new car since the other one has body-work repair costs up the wazoo. Her parents are going to fly us out there for the weekend (they live in KC) then we'll drive back to Chicago. I'm excited!
To end this post, I have the best boyfriend ever! If he could he would bring me coffee in bed from 1000 miles away.
