dear marvel comics
as i was shopping through the fantastic four action figures for my child who's grown an obsession for the movies, i looked, to no avail, for a sue storm figure.
this occurred during the post christmas sales, so i thought maybe she'd sold out. (silly me.)
so, imagine my irritation when, while looking at the back of the human torch's package, i realized that the geniuses in marketing had decided to make action figures for the fantastic three guys and doctor doom.
i thought the boy's only club was a relic of my childhood. 'tis a shame, as the character of sue storm has been around for decades, and i have always appreciated her- particularly since she was just as brainy as the guys, thankyouverymuch.
maybe marketing finds her scary?
i dunno. but i'm part of the demographic with money perusing the toy stores nowadays. and i was dead set on buying a sue storm, if she'd only been worth producing....
