I feel like a total asshole, but I've lost yet another piece of jewelry :( May I have a pendant composed of a pen nib, wrapped in silver wire, accented with nothing but a teeny tiny raw ruby? I have thirty magpie points to pay with, if that's cool with you?

I hope it at least finds its way into the hands of someone who will enjoy it! I always wonder what happens to lost pieces of my jewelry, if they get picked up by someone who loves found objects or if they vanish forever or if they have a reunion every year in the place that all lost things go.

I need to figure out where I stashed my pen nib collection and the rubies, but yes, I can do that!Just email the pictures of the rewards points and the resulting confetti to kythryne@wyrdingstudios.com at some point between now and Wednesday, please. :)

I've been hoping it would turn up, maybe fallen behind a bookcase, or tucked away Somewhere Safe, since I first noticed it missing a few months ago. :-/ I even asked all my partners to check their desks and bookcases in case I took it off while visiting one of them.

I have lost SO many things to the temptation of Somewhere Safe. I keep joking that I am going to get a large box, label it "Somewhere Safe" and stick things in there. I never do, though.

Absolutely no hard feelings! If you like the rest of the piece but just not the ruby, I thiiiiiiink I could slide a different stone into the same spot with a minimum of effort. Or I'll happily take another shot at it the next time I do IGM. If you can point me towards examples of rubies you do like (there should be quite a few if you do a search on my site) that will help me narrow it down.

Just let me know if you want to pass altogether or have me try swapping out the stone. Either is perfectly fine with me, although swapping the stone would have to wait until I get some other stuff sorted this week. :)

you have no idea how much jewelery I lose. I have a standing order with kyth to make all my earrings in triplicate so that when I inevitably lose one, I can still have a matching pair.
