MFF or not.... Most likely not.

I was telling some friends, I have just enough days to go to MFF this year. It's expensive, but I went under optimal conditions the last times I went. I had con hotel space, I had plenty of time to get back home, I had some money to throw at it. This year I have the bare minimum days to go with, No real good room situation, and I have the money but I don't want to get off that much. I sorta wrote Dragon con off as my last big expense on con stuffs.

Alternatively, I could use those days with only a few limited weekends off between now and the end of the year to do a few other things that are dwindling into the CAN'T DO, every day. Maybe cart my ATV down to a friends place in FL and ride. Maybe head to miami for a weekend and visit friend. I've never been there so it's still an idea. Maybe head to VA and see someone else that won't likely have the schedule to accommodate me. If all else fails,... I don't know.

This isn't one of those cons I would be heart broken not to go to. It's crowded, it's far away, It's cold, It's expensive. OH yea, and it's fucking crowded. BUT!... it's the best con so far I've been to where I can meet up with friends constantly. There's a element of kink to it also. That's been interesting the last few times I went, seeing all that going on. The drive is so FARKING long (14 hours minimum) and I do it by myself, but it sorta is kinda ok. I don't sightsee by any means, but when I had an audio book playing and my gut was leaving me alone it was memorable. Hell, more often the actual travel is what stands out in my mind when I think back to the con weekend.
