February 2014 In Review
Joe's Coffee. It is time again for my monthly review of the previous month. February was a pretty good month over all.
1st. I drove out to Alicia's to pick up a hat and scarf she'd made and she made me dinner. After hanging with her a while I returned to Atlanta to attend David T's birthday party at The Keep.
2nd. I spent the day with Destiny an Rachael then met up with Kate Monster at a flow and play to take some pictures of her fire hooping.
5th. Stone Soup. A lot of good conversation at this one.
6th. Drove to Jonesboro to give a a stranded Inna a lift back to Atlanta before going to The Elder Tree too meet up with some folks for David's birthday karaoke.
7th. A brief drop in to DooGallery to check out exhibits by Hourglass Imagery and Jon Adelung before going to Samantha G's birthday party.
8th. Holy shit, all the things. I picked up the kids and took them to the Stone Soup kidlet playdate. DooGallery's Art for Sweethearts thing, then Art Ashram. After taking them home I closed out the night with Danielle S's birthday get together.
12th. I was one of the handful of people who walked in to Stone Soup despite the snow and ice keeping most away.
14th. Drove Brittany down to Bainbridge to see Mac and Ashley over Valentine's weekend.
15th. Mac and Ashley hosted an intimate gathering so we could meet some of their local friends.
16th. Returned to Atlanta.
20th. Had dinner at Alicia's again.
22nd. Attended DooGallery's Un'arte Nuevo exhibit which included some of my photography accompanied by Alyah.
23rd. Spent the day with the kids.
24th. Went to DooGallery to pick up my photos, hung a while to shoot the shit with Elvis.
28th. I went to Nectar at The Jungle, being less than impressed by the event but I enjoyed seeing some friends there.
It was all around a pretty excellent month. Pretty much all major aspects of me got at least some stimulation. Money has been pretty tight but I have been getting by with no need for anyone's help. I just need to be a bit more thrifty and I will be peachy.
