Just a quick entry before the house rewarming party my housemates are throwing starts. It seems like all my entries so far this year have been rather brief and rushed. I really need to make some time to really settle in a while at a bar or cafe and at least fill more than one page.
I finally replaced my defective phone today. There are only a few people that I text or talk to on the phone with any regularity, but only being reachable by Facebook makes making and executing plans somewhat difficult. There were things I really wanted to do that I passed on because I didn't want to try to drive places I have never been without GPS or a way to contact anyone if I got lost or broke down.
