Poppy's Potluck
I am at a potluck at Poppy's place. Debra and Mike are here with Destiny and Rachael. It's nice to get to spend the day with my children on the first day of the year.
It has been a great first day in general. I started the day off going to Barnes & Noble to buy the journal that I am writing this in. Then I had an impromptu brunch with Samantha G, James H, and Kylei that The Earl, which was very enjoyable for both the food and the company.
I am going to get back to the potluck. I don't know most of the people here and I should probably see if I can change that. Also, there is apparently a fire and I'm missing it. Unacceptable!
