Moving To East Atlanta

Time for my weekly journaling at The Shelter's Retro Night. It's also my first entry into a new mole skin journal. Thirdly, it is my first day as a new resident of the East Atlanta Village, having put my money down on my new place, a lovely room in the house of a nice couple named Dave and Marissa.

I have actually been stalling writing in this new journal until I could start it out with the major step forward of having a bedroom again. It's a pretty awesome room too. The ceiling is kind of low and vaulted but that makes it feel unique. It has enough floor space to nearly be two rooms. I think of half of it as my bedroom and the other half as my living room. The low slanted ceiling is going to make decorating a challenge but one I intend to rise to if I have some expendable funds in the future.

Tomorrow I plan on meeting up with this girl named Heather Rose that I met at Jessica's party last Friday. She's going to help me move some stuff from the old house. I wasn't able to find anyone with a truck so I don't know how much I am going to be able to get into the PT Cruiser, but as far as I recall there isn't much I really care that much about there. I still hope I get everything that's mine, though, Brenda isn't going to hold my onto my stuff forever and I would rather have it all out sooner than later.

I am excited about my new place and am really happy about the location. I am hoping I will be able to find some good friends and maybe a play parter/lover or two. I adore Kitten, but hardly ever seeing her is a real bummer.

Getting a D&D game going would be awesome too. Actually, now that I finally have my Westward RPG PDF copy from supporting their Kickstarter, I should probably try to run a game of that.

Speaking of crowdfunding, Danny is going to work up some concept art for me for my Worldwalker comic so I can try to crowdfund hiring an artist for the first issue. I am going to bust my ass to finally get a comic out that is truly mine in time for next Dragon*Con. Worldwalker is something I have wanted to do for nearly twenty years and isn't much like anything else I am aware of.
