Friends - Thank you everyone!
You know, you're going to start thinking I'm getting cheesy by talking about this, but this is important in any aspect. Be it an online game or RL, friends are really important! You really have to try to keep a friendship. True, there may be arguments and all that stuff, but in the end true friends make up and continue...
FFXI is a game that can't be played alone. Many many times people complain and lament about the difficulty of that, you need a group to kill this or fight that. It's a great way to make friends. As Flynne once said (the silly Elvaan is good for something), "I may not get a chance to see you IRL and I may never, but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't respect you as a friend. You're a friend in all aspects."
Of course, people will debate virtual friends are not as important as RL friends...and they will become like wynth, a scholar... :D Nose buried in book because of technicalities.
Virtual friends come to help you in quests at a last minute notice. RL friends will do that as well. Virtual friends advice you and help you without asking anything in return. RL friends do that too. So.. Virtual? RL? Where's the difference? Just because you don't see a person doesn't mean their not your friends...
That was a long long post... bottom line is. I treasure all my friends, RL or Virtual. :D
I thank all the FFXI friends up to date who has willingly at the drop of the hat came to help me in missions and COP. These are the people I appreciate. I hope they have many blessings for the upcoming new year!
My tanks:
Calta, Cairi and Rarehero. Thank you guys for coming to help at the drop of the hat and often at the last minute and wearing ugly gear. ;p
My support:
Truehero, Ceridwen and Hiromaxi. You guys play the support jobs and you play it really well... I respect you. Especially thanks to Hiro, Hiro is one of the nicest guy in the game, he helped me ever since I've started without asking for anything in return. Hey... thank you. ^^
My every other jobs:
Feanorsof, Babytaru and Okada. Some of you guys have been around for a long time, you have so many things to do. Yet, you decide to help whenever you can. I thank you for that. :D
My JP friends:
Anarlholy and Ape - These two owe nothing to me and yet they help out whenever they can so I do appreciate them and hope that I can help them out too! :D
These are the few that I've repeatedly asked and sought for help and they do turn up. Hopefully i haven't missed anyone out. Without these guys, I would not have progressed that fast through COP Missions or gotten my Blue Magic. Thank you all!
And to my other friends, those that hang out with me regularly and have fun!
Toshirou, Kerushi and Flynne! Let's have more fun together. :D
