A project to document 2010 with one photo taken every day this year.
Um yeah, quite a backlog of these to get through! But here's all of them so far, from where I left off. I also took a leaf out of
kalliasgrimm's book in formatting the photos this way, as it looks neater, so click the thumbnails for bigger versions!
19/01/10 - Global Focus
I took an alternative route home from work that night, and happened to notice this when I was at the lights, so I decided to park and get a picture. I changed the picture up a wee bit by using a focal black-and-white effect so the sign was the only thing in colour (though there's barely any, since it was dark), then I used soft focus, so the rest of the picture was out-of-focus in comparison. It's probably shit, but I like it!
20/01/10 - Academic Literature
I got all these books this day, and it happens that one is for each of my different classes. A wee representation of what I'm doing this semester!
21/01/10 - "Feline" Unimpressed
Ended up at Ali and Laura's after uni that afternoon, and Ali suggested I get a picture of Anouska...this was her "leave me alone!" posture after I kept bumping her bed with my foot to see what kind of funny reactions she had.
22/01/10 - A Shining Light Upon the Water
This is another picture from Level E of the red car park at Ocean Terminal, but facing the back this time. Flashy lights and prettiness = courtesy of the night-mode on my camera.
23/01/10 - Chuck Versus The Elusive Disc
I bought Chuck S2 not long ago and discovered the boxset had two disc 6'es and was missing a disc 3, so HMV ordered me a new one. I picked it up that day, so there it was, in all its disc 3-inclusive glory!
24/01/10 - Staind
My previously clean top after a day on Ben and Jerry's *tuts* To be fair, the damage wasn't as bad as previous times and could be worse, but it was still annoying!
25/01/10 - City of Literature
Jen and I went on a walk down to Fopp in town, and on our way up South St. David Street, I spotted this display on the side of one of the buildings. I think it's something to do with Edinburgh being one of UNESCO's cities of literature, but anyway, I thought it looked awesome.
26/01/10 - King of Cleaning
"We will rule over all this land, and we will call it...This Land!"
Josh sitting on his throne of bloo roll in the ushers cupboard upstairs at work, complete with a crown and staff. Note his face of wisdom.
