A while ago I heard about Hugo Chavez seizing some of the oil companies in Venezuela in the name of the government of Venezuela. Now the U.S. is seizing Fannie and Freddie. I don't really know what to think about it, since I'm not exactly up on economic policy, etc. Something tells me that I shouldn't feel good about it. The CEOs are being replaced so that the companies can "be salvaged" but it seems like every time this administration does anything regarding the appointment of people, those people are generally incompetent. So where does this leave us?
