Verah, verah nice. I like the way you push your comfort zone. Yes, black is unforgiving on paint application. One of the reasons why it was a basic lesson back in the day in art school. I've no doubt though, that you will play with it some more and find it fun. Nothing equals it in contrast and color vitality.
