The Terrible Agony of Writing Somewhere
I should be working on an assignment about national identity in Italian cinema, but in a great bout of procrastination, Chapter 13 of Somewhere has magically rocketed well past the 7,000 word count and shows little sign of slowing down.
Do I cut it in two and release part of what's already done? Or should I stick to it and just release a gigantic monster chapter? I'm really not sure. I kind of like smaller chapters that can be easily read in one sitting, but I can't find a good place to divide it.
Either way, Chapter 13 (potentially 14) is an important one and I am oh so very worried about pulling it off right!
Also beginning to worry about the ending planned for the series. To me it seems happy enough, but judging by reactions to another recent fic, I'm beginning to wonder if maybe my views are horribly skewed. *worry worry worry*

Okay, Chapter 13 is done at over 7,600 words. Except it's not entirely done, because I just remembered that I had written some lines for it in my notebook... Which I left at university rather than bringing home for Reading Week. So. Can't post new chapter until I get back.
