Basically, everything in London with directions to it on its website will include the nearest tube stop and probably the nearest buses.
The pricing structure is also pretty mysterious. If you're staying in the city and using the tube once or twice a day, your best bet is probably an Oyster card. You pay £3 for the card itself and then top it up with money and use it to touch in and out of tube stations and buses. If you anticipate using a lot of tube/bus journeys (5-6 a day), buying a day ticket from the machines at the tube stations will probably work out cheaper than using the Oyster.

At least I'll figure out what an Oyster card is now. I'd wondered what they were talking about in 'Planet of the Dead.' Thanks, I'll keep this in mind!
