Dreams and waking nightmares

First off... Deadbeat Dad upstairs is letting his children run wild again.  It's BAD this time...  Despite the chill, I have fans running, and the TV on loud in the hope that it'll drown them out (not working).  The apartment keeps shaking from their pounding around.  They've been running around non-stop since I woke up this morning, and I've had to go out just to get away.  I'm giving them another hour; if he doesn't make any effort to control them by then (which he usually doesn't) I'm going to report them, because this is very disruptive.

Thankfully, I had a package full of audios arrive during the week, so I predict a weekend spent with my headphones one listening to them.  I have How to Ride a Dragon's Storm, the latest of the How to Train Your Dragon audios, a couple of Big Finish audios, including one with the Valeyard (glee!) and the Eleventh Doctor audio Runaway Train.  Hopefully, these will be enough to drown out the monsters upstairs.

But enough about them.  I had some rather interesting dreams last night.  The first involved John Simm, who was also somehow, simultaneously, Sam Tyler.  He was telling me about how he was working as a policeman in Hawaii (under the name Sam Tyler) as well as being an actor (he'd given me tickets to Hamlet) and that he'd help me move there and get a job in the forensics department.  There was also the suggestion of a relationship as well, and of course, I accepted.

I quite liked this dream.  A good job in Hawaii with a sexy British actor boyfriend/cop?  Nice...

The next dream was about me as a fan fic writer who shipped Eleven/Rose.  Really, brain?  Really?  I even had a very, very pink LiveJournal community for my stories, which were about a love triangle involving them and, of all things, a pink Dalek.  Okay.  I almost want to write that just to try to figure out the romantic Dalek angle.

audios, dreams, audio: how to train your dragon series, crazy self is crazy, audio: big finish, real life, audio: bbc, rant, actor: john simm
