Couple of random bits...
Just a couple of random bits while I organize my thoughts about Gally. One of them I found amusing, the other, a bit disturbing.
I'll start with this charming letter to Universal, from a Twilight fan enraged that The Wolfman ripped off New Moon and, apparently, the entire concept of werewolves, which were clearly created by Stephanie Meyer, despite the fact that The Wolfman is a remake of a movie that came out in the '40's and werewolf lore has been around as long as vampire lore. I especially got a kick out of the responses, including one Twilight fan who points out that the weres in the series aren't even technically werewolves, and that this is actually explained in one of the books. Gotta love a fan that can't even comprehend her own fandom. I got a good laugh out of this.
Also, I just saw this news article about the Chile earthquake As a science geek, I had to read it. This is... a really creepy thought. It makes sense, but it's rather disturbing as well, especially when you consider some of the bizarre natural phenomena we've experienced lately.
