I can't catch a break, can I?

So, I went to the Goodwill today go get jeans, since the only wearable ones I have are falling apart. And I had a 20% off slip from donating some items, so I figured I'd be okay. I wasn't as successful as I had hoped... For starters, I'm at the high end of a specific size, and some pants of that size will fit, and some won't, so I was planning to swallow my pride and get the next size up... only, they didn't have anything in that size, or any other sizes between that one and size 22. So I had to try on every pair of pants in my size before I finally found one that fit (admittedly, this task was made harder due to the fact that it's very humid, and the Goodwill doesn't have air conditioning; getting jeans up sweaty thighs is an epic task.)

And then I find out that the jeans went up in price; my last pair cost $5.99. Now, they're $7.99. Fan-freaking-tastic.

Also? The soles tearing loose from my shoes are starting to catch on the accelerator. That's just perfect.

I can't catch a break...
