Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! I hope everyone enjoys the day, whether they spend it with a partner or on their own.
I'm an 'on their own' person, myself. I'm just not a romantic by nature, and don't have any real desire to seek anyone out at the moment. It's just another day to me, which isn't a horrible thing. I'd rather be happily alone rather than miserable and alone on a holiday about romance. Plus, it's my Dad's birthday, so I don't really think of today as a holiday beyond that.
On a different note... I can finally take walks outside! It's been above freezing, and the snow has melted off much of the sidewalks and the hiking trails, so I've been able to get out of the apartment. Of course, I'm a bit out of shape from being stuck indoors all the time, so I return a little sore and out of breath, but I'll get over it. I'm just delighted to have better weather because it always improves my outlook on life.
