Let's talk about KL and Super Junior

Mar 23, 2010 23:09

I am totally unmotivated to update LJ. But I said I'd post about the DRAMA that was my KL trip with J, K & L.

Brief summary of the DRAMA :
Friday - Getting there
We took the bus up to KL at 5.30pm. ETA was 11pm I think. Due to rain (zomg Ninja Assassin was shown on coach. It is a bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad movie like a car crash you can't stop watching) and wet roads, we got to Times Square at 12am where J's cousin picked us up. And we got to J's relos' place at almost 1am. J's aunt waited up for us (>_<) It's all a bit fuzzy. I was drugged up and really tired...

Saturday - Concert
Yes, I went to KL for Super Junior.
Concert management tips:
- Do not forget to make clear indications where ppl should queue
- Do not start to let ppl in only at 6pm when the concert is scheduled to start at 7pm
- A 7pm concert should not start at 8pm

The concert was full of awesome though. Amazing seats in the middle near the front and right (courtesy of J's cousin, who bought them for us and also drove us around KL). The pyro, the timings, the videos.
Oh the boys. Fallen Angel (I can't decide if I love you or your hair more <333 no words to describe *flails*), Dangerous Cinderella (sings Ivy's song better than Ivy herself), Bubble Boy (no one cared that you got a line wrong, you were great), Cutie Pie (walked down the stairs right beside us ^^), Ultimate Sweetness (watching you figure out that LED light *grins*), Bejewelled (so needing to put on the weight you lost when you were sick, poor baby), Sexy Fishy (watching you dance is always a joy), Living Work of Art (mmm English and I believe in Shisus, I really do), Lovable Blurness (that solo with that wave at the end), Hottest Baby (the only Starcraft-playing Kangaroo ever).
And let's not forget Mimi (the chopstick; if that boy gets any skinnier, he's going to disappear >.<) and Henni (whose solo made me go "who is that... OOOOOOH").
Much screaming and tears shed on my part. I'm so glad the "only white lights to look like stars" Shining Star worked out. And Min ended up with 5 of those led lights (he slipped them onto each digit of one hand). Thankful that someone (from Singapore? since it was Sg ELF who handed them around) sponsored 8000 led lights.
I might have been all "ack, Sg ELF *cringe*" but when Teukie shouted "Singapore!", L and I just lost it. Threw dignity to the wind and answered his call.

Concert ended late though and after food we ended up getting back to J's relos' place late. Again. (>_<)

Sunday - Shopping
Okay, not much drama here.
Mid Valley Megamall is like half of Orchard packed into a giant building the size of half of Orchard. Make sense out of that.
Krispy Kreme~ And meh rain...
I didn't sleep a wink.

Monday - Going home
The epitome of drama.
We missed our 6.05am flight.
And tickets for the next flight cost 224 ringgit.
J's relos are a blessing. Uncle constantly called when we were in the taxi from the airport to check that the driver was on the right route. Aunt got us food, brought us to the central bus station where she found us a bus that was just leaving for Sg, and herded us onto it.
Btw, Resident Evil 3 on that bus. These buses can't show anything decent can they...?

I feel like I've levelled up in general travel experience thanks to this trip. Okay, I've probably levelled up 3 times thanks to this trip.

Also, for someone whose last trip to M'sia was 20 years ago, this trip I managed to travel via:
- Express bus
--- on the Second Link (to M'sia)
--- on the Causeway (back to Sg)
- Monorail
- Light rail
- Public bus

And it's time to post this and sleep or I'll just keep on adding and adding to Saturday.

suju, travel
