The problem is that the uni I'm going to attend doesn't offer Korean studies DDDD: but they have Japanese studies so I'm.. I WANT KOREAN STUDIES DDDDX

I see... If you really want to, you can always study it outside of uni.
I ended up going overseas in order to study what I wanted to.

Most places have private language schools. You can try checking them out.
