I got back at 11.50pm and only just took off my contacts. Because the first thing I did was switch on my laptop and check LJ & gmail. Obsessed...
Apparently I haven't pimped Postcrossing yet! You register & give your address, request other ppl's addresses, send postcards overseas, and receive postcards.
2 of the postcards I sent out have arrived at their destinations! To US took 6 days to get there, while to Germany took 5 days. I've got 3 other postcards travelling. To UK, to Malaysia, & another to US.
News & random stuff: Indonesia had another tsunami, the Middle East looks set for a war, I found a website for Austrian holiday packages, and first-year Linguistics...
I need to shower then wait for hair to dry before I can sleep...
