I never thought it would happen....
but I'm severely addicted to Yoville on Facebook. I wait til I can collect coins to buy more furniture where I can rearrange my rooms. I religiously visit my crew members to collect more coins and to rate their rooms so they will rate mine. I throw water balloons and send gifts to strangers. What is up with this? I'm an old middle aged woman and I'm having the time of my life with this simpler version of Sim City.
And on the home front, I'm still suffering with the crud. The second round of antibiotics has still not knocked it out of me. I wake up coughing during the night and so by the time I get home from school, my ass is dragging. More days than not, I wind up asleep on the couch for an hour or so.
Had Sajid and Jackie's baby shower this past Sat. They got alot of cute things. We just had a large family gathering and it was actually a lot of fun.
Expect to get Stacie this weekend for a couple days. She wants to celebrate her birthday and has requested a birthday cake. We'll see what we do about that. Think Yasmeen will be going to her dad's to stay over the spring break.
Speaking of Yasmeen, we got her signed up for summer orientation and UNCC and put in for her housing. Just got word from FAFSA and UNCC that she has been awarded scholarships/grants to the tune of 11,000 and some change for the first year. WOOOO HOOOOO!! Hallelujah!!! That means my portion of her tuition, housing, fees will not be much at all. I've been blessed with my girls getting so much financial aid to attend school. Mariam has one more year and then she has to TRY and find a teaching position.
That's it this go round. Some one hit me up with something to talk about.
