Money woes; what else is new?

Seriously considering bankruptcy. Seriously.

I receive a whopping $641 from disability every month on the third. $180 of that goes towards rent, $121+ goes to my Care Credit bill, $50+ goes to my dental bill, $45+ goes to my Victoria's Secret card (which I'm cancelling), and while I'm polishing off this bill next week, about $20 went towards Paypal. That doesn't leave me with much for the remainder of the month. Much of what's left goes towards personal needs like shampoo, body wash (though I thought ahead last month and got two bottles), medical supplies (also handled for the next month or so), special food items for myself (Pepsi, tea, snacks, etc), and now, gas for the Galactica. We put ten in the tank last night, but it barely moved the needle. I know gas prices are supposedly going down, but I don't think Exxon got the memo. Never going there again. Anyway.

Now, due to my own stupidity and forgetfulness, I neglected to set up a payment for my VS card this month. Now it's gone from $45 to $115. I can't pay for that and still help with my share of the new bedframe, plus whatever else I might need for myself. Noah sold his old bed to Eric for the main portion of the money; we were forced to spend a little for food last Friday, then used about $25 for quick eats and gas yesterday. Granted, we probably could've done without the diner trip, but we were feeling social and I like to think it was an enjoyable experience all around. Nevermind I can supplant the amount spent with the money I'm getting for my latest commission. That's something at least. That can handle most of my share of the frame cost. I'll probably have to wait until July for my twin mattress, but that was actually expected and I've planned for it. The frame is the most expensive bit, though if we can find something for less elsewhere, we're going to jump on it. Either way, a new sleeping arrangement will be had, come hell or high water. I know in the grand scope of things, a new bed seems frivolous and hardly practical given our financial restraints, but dammit! Everyone deserves a little something non-bill related every month! This is ours. Haters can line up on the left and GTFO.

Ranting aside, at least I don't have to worry about school stuff too much. That's at least progressing normally, along with the remaining commissions. Small favors, that sorta thing. For now, I'm gonna kill shit in EQ2 and chill.

stupid money, daily life, ranty
