Not surprising
It really shouldn't surprise me that there's very little decent fic for either Mass Effect game. I know not many people much thought in, well, anything, especially not DLC content, but c'mon. Zaeed's awesome! Where's the love? And stop making him say "fuck" all the time! That's Jack's favorite word! Zaeed is all about the sons-of-bitches and dammits and stuff. Like Joker loves his constant streams of "shit". Wow that sounded bad. Whatever. The meaning is there.
I feel almost obligated to provide the community with good fic, like, of anyone. People are already simultaneously praising and cursing my name for making them Joker/Kelly shippers. I have a lot of equal praise for my interpretation of bitter!Kaidan. This is less about writing about characters I love and more about justice done unto them.
I know I already have a Kaidan fic in the works, but augh. My idea for soldier!Karen!femShep and Zaeed is too awesome to ignore! It writes itself! Must delve as deep as I can into character studies and history of relevent events.
