Blech. Tomorrow's the big V-day. Valentine's, quite frankly, sucks. That's just my own personal experience, of course. Considering I'm a sappy romantic, I would love that day...if every time it rolled around, I wasn't alone. -_- I seem to have a nice little tradition of giving roses to someone on V-Day, even though I've been single every time

The V-Day shopping didn't go too well, though. I don't necessarily like shopping for that particular holiday...just for romantic gifts in general. And as far as my roommates go...well, Josh wouldn't know romantic if it beat him on the head with a large mallet, and Matt's too easy to shop with. I mean, he spazzed when we had to look at jewelry (My personal fave: romantic, and it lasts forever. Usually longer than the relationship, certainly. ^_^;;), but show him one tango-ing frog, and he was done. The thing is hilarious. Its a little plush frog with a rose in its mouth: you squeeze its hand, it says "Let's dance" in a low voice, and the starts swaying. Amusing, certainly. ^_^;; Symbolic...somehow.
And for the earplugs? Well, Michael left this morning and hasn't come back yet. I dunno if that's good or not, but wherever he is he's most likely happy. And Josh...well, there's always loud music.
Heh...and I just got done with another, albeit smaller, order of cheesesticks. Those things are great!!!

And there still aren't too many guys that I know of that want to even bother with looking for romantic gifts, Valentines day or not.

Point taken on the gift thing. The problem with doing that kind of shopping is that there's so much to take into mind. Its a LOT of thinking, and most people would rather take the easy way out. (Flowers...chocolates...stuffed animal...done!) I just think its kind of exciting, getting to see the look on the person's face when they get their gift, the anxiety you feel giving it to them, the feeling when you finally think you have the perfect gift...^_^;;; But that's just me.
