It's American Censorship Day in the US.
The US Congress held hearings on an Internet Censorship system. This could potentially result in shutting down a lot of the social media that we hold dear. Youtube, Tumblr, Facebook, Deviantart, possibly our fanfic archives - the list goes on and on.
Essentially, our access to the world will end up controlled, and the internet in the US will bear more and more resemblance to that in China and other countries which have national internet censorship.

If we don't speak up, we'll never know whether our voices could be the ones that make a difference. So, we have to make sure our voices are heard.
