Room available in Pagan scent free household $650 per month
Hi all - there are some changes afoot at my house, so if you live local to me and are looking for a new place to live or know some one who is - now is the time to come be my housemate! (I know, you are all just dying to live with me, right *grin*)
Here's the scoop:
We have a room available August 1st in our communal Pagan, scent free, household located on the boarder of North Oakland and Berkeley within easy walking distance of BART, busses and stores.
The room is 11’ x 14’, unfurnished, has two east facing windows, 10’ ceiling, and is currently painted purple.
Rent is $650 a month, due on the 1st of each month and includes the room as well as utilities (water, gas, electric, trash/recycling and wifi).
The household shares:
Two story house
Back, front and side yards
Full kitchen with large fridge and separate freezer, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, and pantry
Upstairs bathroom with large walk-in shower and separate water closet,
Downstairs bathroom with claw foot tub
Laundry room with front load washer and dryer
Downstairs living/craft area
Upstairs library/living area
Dedicated temple space
Four cats
Please note:
For healthy reasons we are a scent free / smoke free house hold. This means that we use only unscented cleaning products, no perfumes or incense *at all*, and all personal hygiene products need to be as mild as possible fragrance wise, though unscented is always preferred. While friends are welcome to smoke outside the house, we prefer housemates to be non-smokers.
For those with sensitivities:
Please be aware that the house does have a bit of a mold problem in one of the bathrooms, and obviously with four cats, it’s better if you aren’t allergic to them :)
Regarding Pets:
Sorry, we can not incorporate any dogs into the household at this time.
We would be willing to consider additional cats but *only* females. Our girls are good with other girls, but our one boy is a pill and a half about territory and its just not worth the smell or the noise.
Other pets are negotiable.
