well it did indeed take a full night's sleep to get my eyes to chill the frakk out. It also took several hours to get to said sleep, but hey, at least it happened.
This is actually something I keep forgetting to document - the "now I am awake" factor after an exposure. I get this bone deep exhaustion that feels like the only cure is sleep and I live on the couch because I cant actually sleep. Then when I try to go to sleep I am wide awake, either because I have been resting or as some other side effect. I can take an hour or several before I can finally fall asleep. funfunfun.
Last night I had on going irritation in my left eye. Like when you have an eyelash stuck under the lid, but nothing was there. This combined with all the "look left, look to the floor, etc" left me with a monster headache until sometime after I finally slept. yet more fun.
The other fun thing? When I woke up the first time this morning I discovered a contact rash on both arms right where i had been resting my arms on the exam room chair. ugh. topic benedril, internal benedril and more sleep and it appears to be gone. But ugh.
My left eye is still tender, but much better. I'm still tired, but also better over all. And I can see! *happy dance* I have ritual for Beltane tonight that I am saving my spoons for cause its gonna be fun damnit! :)
yeah. not so much with the grownup about any of this, but hey, whatcha gonna do?
